The Myanmar side travelled to Ho Chi Minh City as group leaders last week but found themselves on the wrong end of a 4-1 defeat that saw them slip to second in AFC Cup Group H, three points behind the Vietnamese team and level with Malaysia Super League champions Kelantan.
However, Herel feels that his team can do better when they entertain Navibank at the Youth Training Centre in Yangon.
"This match will be very tough as Navibank have many experienced players in their team," said the Slovakian.
"As we lost 4-1 to them in our away match, we need to try hard in our home game to get a good result and we have to be careful not to make as many mistakes this time."
A win for Navibank would all but seal the Vietnamese side's passage into the last 16 and their coach Pham Cong Loc is in confident mood ahead of the game.
"As we got a good result in Vietnam, we will try to get another good win here because this match is a very important match for us to go to the next round," he said.
The other Group H games takes place in Malang where Arema Indonesia are badly in need of a win after managing only one point from their first three games.
They will also be looking to avenge the 3-0 defeat against Kelantan in Malaysia last Wednesday.
"We know Kelantan quite well after our last match," said Arema coach Dejan Antonic. "We will play with different tactics and a different spirit and hopefully, we will have better luck at home after three matches without a win.
"It's still not too late for us and we still have a chance in this competition. But I respect Kelantan and expect a tough game tomorrow.
The Indonesian side will be missing defender Hermawan through suspension while Kelantan have some injury concerns with key players like defenders S.Subramaniam and Azizi Matt Rose doubtful for the match.
For Kelantan coach Bojan Hodak, fatigue is another issue with the team playing their third game in six days after a 1-1 league draw at Sarawak last Saturday.
"It has been a tiring journey especially as we have to play a game ever three days," said the Croatian.
"The players are so tired and we also have five or six injured players who cannot play tomorrow.
"Another problem is that we are playing in the afternoon tomorrow while we are more used to playing at night. It will be a serious problem for our players but tomorrow we will still play our best and try to get a result."
