Sime Darby FC will not be short of fan support for the all-important FA Cup semi-final return-leg clash against defending champions Terengganu at Selayang Stadium tomorrow.
Club secretary Zainal Amat, who is also the assistant team manager, said 35 busloads of fans will travel from all over the country to lend their support for the Premier League side’s quest to record an historic first-ever Cup final appearance.
“We have staff and supporters coming from as far as Pasir Gudang in Johor for the match. It will be a great occasion as Sime Darby are just one step away from becoming the first club side to make the FA Cup final,” said Zainal.
Sime Darby, under the astute guidance of coach Ismail Zakaria, have the upper hand, having won the first-leg 2-1 at the Sultan Ismail Stadium in Kuala Terengganu last Saturday.
Tickets for the match will be on sale at the Selayang Stadium from 10am to 6pm today and from 10am on match day. Tickets are priced at RM25 (grandstand) and RM15 (terrace).
