Bojan Hodak was all smiles when asked about his team’s ruthless away performance against PKNS
“I’m quite happy with my player’s performance today. Apart from a few set-pieces, PKNS never really troubled us that much and that is because we kept our defensive discipline all the time.”
“Because everyone one is playing so well, I am definitely going to have a selection headache to pick the first 11 against Sime Darby in the FA Cup final next week”, he said.
The Croatian however refuses to get carried away with this win, and says he will only relax after Kelantan pass their next three matches with good results.
“We have three crucial fixtures coming up against Johor FC in the league, the FA Cup final against Sime Darby next week followed by the crunch derby against Terengganu in the FA Cup. After that I will give my players the rest they have truly deserved.”
Bojan also remained realistic when asked about Kelantan’s chances to win the FA Cup final next week.
“Being the favorites is already pressure for us. But my boys will go out for victory next week; their motivation is not having won an FA Cup yet, so it will be a historic moment if we do so”.
“The reason we are where we are is because my players have character and a winning mentality, this is what separates Kelantan from the rest of the teams”.
